Welcome to iRecovered.org One Simple Idea Could Change Millions of Lives I recovered — and you can too. Those six words are the foundation of everything we're building. We are in the process of building this platform. Most things do not work yet and not much is here, but below is the full (long) explanation of who we are and what what we are building. Please email us for more information… Thanks Every day, millions of people around the world struggle with depression, addiction, PTSD, cancer, alcoholism, anxiety, trauma, grief, bullying, loneliness, financial hardship, poverty, obesity, chronic illness, divorce, and countless other life challenges. Many believe no one could possibly understand what they’re going through. Many feel isolated. Many lose hope. Many simply don't know where to begin. We believe something very different. We KNOW there are already tens of millions of people living successful recovered stories. The problem isn't that recovery doesn't happen. The problem is that recovery is often invisible. People recover every day. They simply don't have one place where their experiences can be shared, discovered, organized, and used to help others. That is exactly why iRecovered.org exists. Our Vision We're building what we believe will become the world's largest collection of real-life recovery stories. Not just stories written by celebrities. Not carefully polished marketing campaigns. Not one organization's opinion about recovery. Real people. Real experiences. Real hope. Real recovery. Our goal is to create one place where anyone, anywhere in the world, can discover people who have had challenges similar to their own and have RECOVERED. Whether someone is recovering from: Alcoholism Drug addiction PTSD Depression Anxiety Cancer Heart disease Bullying Divorce Domestic violence Poverty Obesity Grief COVID Medical malpractice Organized religion Discrimination Childhood trauma Military service Gambling Loss Chronic illness ...or hundreds of other life challenges... We want them to discover one incredibly powerful truth: Someone else has been where they are... and recovered. Why This Matters Hope often begins with identification. When someone sees another person who looks like them... Lives like them... Struggled like them... Failed like them... and eventually recovered... Something changes. They begin believing recovery might actually be possible for themselves. That belief becomes action. Stories become hope. Hope becomes action. Action becomes recovery. Recovery creates another story. And the cycle continues. What Makes iRecovered.org Different? Most organizations focus on one issue. One diagnosis. One treatment method. One recovery philosophy. Those organizations provide tremendous value. We're not trying to replace them. In fact, we hope to help people find them. Our mission is different. We're creating one destination where recovery from every type of life challenge exists together. Because recovery isn't limited to one diagnosis. It's part of the human experience. We believe the power of iRecovered.org won't come from one expert. It will come from the collective experiences of millions of ordinary people sharing how they recovered, so you can too. More Than a Website Although many people initially think of iRecovered.org as a website, our vision is much bigger. We're building what we believe will become the world's first global social platform dedicated entirely to recovery, resilience, hope, and healing. Imagine combining the personal storytelling of a blog, the community interaction of a social network, and the searchability of a recovery library—all focused on one purpose: Helping people realize they are not alone and that others have RECOVERED and you can too. Your Very Own Page Every person who joins iRecovered.org will have their own place to create their own personal page. Think of it as your own space within the community. Unlike traditional websites where you submit a story once and never see it again, your page becomes a living record of your journey. You'll always be able to log back into your account and continue adding to your story as your life unfolds. Recovery doesn't stop. Neither should your story. You may return to celebrate year one of your recovery. Five years. Ten years. You may write about setbacks you've overcome. New victories you've achieved. Relationships you've rebuilt. Children you've raised. Dreams you've accomplished. Or simply share the hope you've found along the way. Your story grows because your life continues to grow. You Control Your Story Everyone's journey is different. That's why you'll decide exactly how much you want to share. You'll be able to: Use your real name. Use only your first name. Use a nickname. Remain completely anonymous. Choose whether your location is visible. Decide if others can contact you. Allow or disable comments. Edit your story whenever you choose. Add new chapters as your life continues. Share you story so others can recover too. Our mission is simply to help you share the story of how you recovered so others can too. Tell Your Story Your Way When the platform launches, sharing your experience will be simple. You'll be able to: Write your story. Record your story with your own voice. Upload photos. Upload videos. Allow AI to help organize your story. Automatically convert audio into written text. Translate your story into multiple languages. Create timelines showing your recovery journey. Save drafts and finish later. Share directly with others. Continue updating your story for years to come. Whether you're comfortable writing or simply talking, we'll make sharing your experience as easy as possible. A Community Built Around Encouragement iRecovered.org isn't designed to be another social media platform filled with arguments, negativity, or endless scrolling. Every feature is being built around encouragement, hope, learning, and meaningful human connection. Members will eventually be able to: Follow inspiring stories. Encourage one another. Leave supportive comments. Celebrate recovery anniversaries. Join communities centered around specific life challenges. Share updates throughout their recovery journey. Learn from others with similar experiences. Discover organizations and professional resources. Build friendships through shared experiences. Our goal is to help people move forward. Finding Stories That Matter to You Eventually, visitors will be able to search through hundreds of thousands—and ultimately millions—of stories of people who have RECOVERED. You won't simply search for "addiction." You'll be able to narrow your search to find people whose experiences closely resemble your own. For example: Women in thier 20’s who suffer from alcoholism who are professionals, living in Kentucky Black Veterans living with PTSD under the age of 40 in Nebraska. Teenagers overcoming bullying at school or in the workplace. Parents grieving the loss of a child Nurses recovering from addiction Business owners rebuilding after bankruptcy Cancer survivors People living with anxiety Families supporting loved ones The more closely we can help people identify with someone else's experience, the more likely they are to believe that they can recover too and seek help to do so themselves. Where We Are Today As of May 2026 We're in the early stages of building iRecovered.org. The non-profit organization (I Recovered Inc.) has been established, and we're currently laying the foundation for everything you've just read. Right now, we're focused on: Building the website. Designing the mobile application. Creating the social platform. Gathering recovered stories. Building partnerships. Recruiting volunteers. Raising financial support. Creating content. Developing the security and technology behind the platform. The complete platform is not yet available, but we're working every day to bring it to life. Our hope is to launch the initial version of the platform within approximately 12 to 18 months, with new features, communities, and stories continuing to grow for many years afterward. We Need Your Help Movements like this aren't built by one person. They're built by thousands of people who believe in something bigger than themselves. Today we're looking for people who want to help us build iRecovered.org from the ground up. Whether you have one hour a month or professional experience to offer, we'd love to hear from you. We're currently looking for volunteers and some paid positions interested in: Story collection Story interviewing Community outreach Writing and editing Graphic design Photography Video production Social media Marketing Public relations Fundraising Grant writing Event planning Software development Web design Mobile app development Translation services Community moderation Podcast production Research Administrative support Local ambassadors Public speaking Corporate partnerships Non-profit partnerships As we continue to grow over the next 1 to 3 years, we also expect to create many paid positions in most major U.S. cities. Every person on earth has a story with the power to change a life. again… Every person on earth has a story with the power to change a life. You may never know whose life your story changes. You may never meet them. But somewhere in the world... Someone may finally decide to seek help. Call a friend... Enter treatment... Join a support group... Or simply choose to keep going... Because they found your story. That is the movement we're trying to build. One story inspires another. One recovery creates another recovery. One act of courage becomes hope for someone else. Until millions of stories become living proof that I RECOVERED and you can too. Join the Movement We're inviting people everywhere to help build something the world has never seen before. One platform. Millions of stories. Millions of people helping millions of people. Together, we can make recovery visible. Together, we can replace isolation with hope. Together, we can remind the world of one simple truth: I recovered — and you can too. Help Us Build Something That Has Never Existed Before Although the full iRecovered.org platform is still under development, we're already building the community that will make it possible. Right now, we'd love to hear from people who are interested in following our progress, sharing their recovery story when the platform launches, or simply becoming part of this movement from the very beginning. We also welcome your ideas. Many of the best ideas come from people who have lived these experiences themselves. If you see something we haven't thought of, or have suggestions that could make iRecovered.org more helpful, more compassionate, or more impactful, we'd truly love to hear from you. We believe this platform should be shaped not only by its founders, but by the people it is designed to serve. Our vision is to become the place people think of first whenever they're searching for hope, healing, encouragement, or real-life stories of recovery. We hope to become the starting point for anyone asking one simple question: "Has anyone else been through what I'm going through?" And for millions of people, we hope the answer will be: "Yes... and here's their story." We Need Your Help Building a movement like this takes more than great ideas. It takes people who believe in the vision. We're looking for individuals who want to help introduce iRecovered.org to their local communities. Nearly everyone knows someone who may be interested in supporting this mission—whether by making a donation, volunteering their time, sharing their professional skills, introducing us to community leaders, or simply spreading the word. Every conversation matters. Every introduction matters. Every volunteer matters. And yes, every dollar truly helps. Our current goal is to raise approximately $385,000.00 to complete the first phase of development described throughout this vision. That funding will allow us to continue building the platform, gathering stories, expanding partnerships, and preparing for our initial public launch. Beyond that, we anticipate needing approximately $3.5 million to support operations through the first three years as we continue building the technology, community, and organizational infrastructure necessary to achieve our mission. Our long-term objective is to become financially sustainable through a balanced combination of individual supporters, public donations, foundation grants, corporate partnerships, sponsorship opportunities, and an engaged global community of members who believe in what we're building. We Hope to Earn Your Trust We understand that many people already support organizations they deeply believe in, and we respect that. We're not asking you to replace those organizations. Instead, we hope that over time, iRecovered.org will earn a place alongside them. One thing that makes this movement unique is that supporters won't simply watch from the sidelines. You'll have the opportunity to watch it grow, participate in its development, contribute ideas, share stories, volunteer, encourage others, and help shape what we believe can become one of the largest collections of hope and recovery ever assembled. This isn't simply about building another non-profit. It's about building a movement that belongs to everyone who believes that recovery should be visible, accessible, and available to anyone who needs it. We know trust isn't given—it is earned. Our promise is to earn that trust through transparency, integrity, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to helping people discover that recovery is possible. Thank you for considering becoming part of this journey. Together, we have the opportunity to build something that could improve countless lives—not just today, but for generations to come.
